The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI (M)] North Andaman Area Committee organized two public conferences in Diglipur and Kalighat, the place the occasion strongly criticized the BJP-led central authorities and the native administration for the hardships confronted by islanders.

The second assembly happened on March 23, 2025, at Kalighat Bazar.
