A hands-on Training Programme on e-Claim Generation beneath the e-Bill System of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) was efficiently carried out on February 11, 2026, on the EDP Section of the Office of the Chief Pay & Accounts Officer, Sri Vijaya Puram.
Inaugurating the programme, Mr. S. Dasgupta, Director of Accounts & Budget, highlighted the importance of digital transformation in authorities monetary processes. He emphasised that the e-Bill System beneath PFMS enhances transparency, improves effectivity and ensures well timed settlement of claims and funds.
He famous that the adoption of the web e-Claim system would considerably cut back reliance on bodily documentation and decrease the necessity for distributors to make private visits to authorities workplaces, thereby streamlining workflow and strengthening accountability.
The coaching programme was organised for representatives of Government Departments and Autonomous Bodies that present providers to numerous Departments of the A&N Administration. Participants included officers from ANIIDCO, Store Division–APWD, Government Press, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council and different service-providing companies.
During the session, members acquired detailed hands-on coaching on the technology of Claim Reference Numbers (CRN), submission of e-Claims utilizing Digital Signature Certificates (DSC), technology of e-Bills and on-line monitoring of cost standing by means of PFMS.
