The Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism (IP&T), A&N Administration, has invited purposes from eligible tourism stakeholders, watersports operators and boat operators for registration and permission to conduct parasailing actions at Shaheed Dweep.
According to the Directorate, the initiative is a part of efforts to advertise leisure and leisure water sports activities actions below the area of interest tourism section throughout numerous vacationer locations within the Islands.
To facilitate the actions, the Directorate of IP&T has undertaken a complete “Risk Assessment and Safety Audit” by way of the National Institute of Water Sports below the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in accordance with the A&N Islands Watersports Guidelines, 2015.
Following the evaluation, the next offshore sectors at Shaheed Dweep have been recognized for parasailing actions:
-Laxmanpur Beach No. 1 (Offshore Sector)
-Laxmanpur Beach No. 2 (Offshore Sector)
-Ramnagar Beach (Offshore Sector)
Interested candidates have been requested to submit their purposes within the prescribed format together with all essential paperwork, whereas fulfilling the eligibility standards and security necessities stipulated below the A&N Islands Watersports Guidelines, 2015.
