M. A. Sajid, State President of NSUI and State Vice President of PYC A&N Islands, has raised critical issues over the rising stray canine menace in Ward No. 13, urging the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council to take speedy motion to guard residents from rising assaults.
In a proper letter addressed to the Municipal Council Secretary, Sajid highlighted a number of incidents in current months the place stray canine have aggressively attacked pedestrians and two-wheeler riders, inflicting accidents and instilling concern locally. “Several school children are now afraid to walk to school, and senior citizens hesitate to step out for their daily walks,” Sajid famous in his enchantment.
Sajid identified that the dog-catching van has not visited Ward No. 13 for a number of years, leading to an unchecked rise within the stray canine inhabitants. He has referred to as for the speedy resumption of normal dog-catching operations to revive security and peace within the ward.
