Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks has been infamous for making daring statements on virtually something. However, the eight-time All-Star might have hit a nerve that may get the Cleveland Cavaliers indignant and fired up.
The 31-year-old Irving weighed in on his resolution to signal with the Mavericks, explaining how he agreed to remain there after signing a three-year $126 million deal, by way of Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News.
However, “Uncle Drew” might have gone past what was being requested of him when he insinuated that he wished the Mavericks have been ready to draft him when he entered the league in 2011.

Although he did not particularly point out regretting he was chosen by the Cavaliers in 2011, that remark is prone to fireplace up the Cavaliers and its supporters heading into the 2023-24 NBA season.
Can Kyrie and Luka co-exist?
Although questions have been within the air on how Irving might co-exist with resident star Luka Doncic, Mavs head coach Jason Kidd supplied a distinct view of issues when he spoke on “The Saturday Stein Line with Marc Stein.”
“Looking at our roster, hopefully we don’t have to play [Luka] 40-plus minutes a night,” Kidd began. “But I think right now I’m excited with Luka and [Kyrie Irving] and having Luka ready to go and to achieve his goals, and that’s to win a championship.”
The key take there may be Doncic not being tasked to play heavy minutes. The Slovenian has not been spared from accidents, notably his quad situation.
When the Mavericks opened coaching camp, the four-time All-Star guard addressed his well being standing and mentioned that his damage is enhancing, SI.com reported.
“It’s better,” Doncic mentioned. “We still have some appointments, so when we get a clear [idea] of what it is, we’ll let you guys know.”
