NBA Commissioner Adam Silver shared his ideas on Wembanyama’s summer time league debut, saying that every one summer time leagues are NBA summer time leagues, and he’s very supportive of the Sacramento version of the match.
“I remember when [Kings owner Vivek Ranadive] first came to the league and said this [summer league] was something he wanted to do. I said, ‘As long as you have enough other teams who support it and players who want to play in it, it’s a good thing,'” Silver added.
The Charlotte Hornets, who maintain the 2nd general decide within the upcoming draft, may even play within the California Classic Summer League.
