In a big step in direction of empowering rural girls and strengthening the Self-Help Group (SHG) community, the Netaji and Ujjal Village Organization (VO) Offices have been inaugurated beneath the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) at Nabagram Panchayat, CD Block Diglipur.
The inaugural program, held on January 14, was graced by Mr. M. Rajendra Kumar, Block Development Officer, because the chief visitor, whereas Mr. Bharat Ch. Biswas, Panchayat Samiti Member, Nabagram, attended because the visitor of honor. The occasion noticed participation from officers of the Police and Medical Departments, the ANSCB Branch Manager (Kalighat), CDPO (ICDS), PRI members, MCLF President, Cluster Coordinators, and a big gathering of SHG and VO members.
The event was marked by vibrant cultural performances, together with songs, Nukkad Natak, speeches, and dance performances, introduced by SHG members, highlighting the spirit of group participation and ladies empowerment.
The institution of those places of work will function a devoted house for SHGs, enabling them to conduct conferences, plan actions, and entry mission assist. This initiative is predicted to reinforce community-driven improvement efforts and promote sustainable livelihood alternatives for rural girls in Diglipur Block. (Story Based on a PR)
