There has been plenty of dialogue surrounding India’s resolution to not journey to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was left fuming by the choice and the officers have made it clear that they don’t seem to be open to any ‘hybrid’ resolution to the issue the place India will play their matches in Dubai. Meanwhile, a Pakistani journalist raised the difficulty of India’s refusal in the course of the US Department of State’s day by day press briefing, The query was requested to principal deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel who was left stunned by the question.

However, Patel made it clear that the difficulty is strictly between India and Pakistan with the United States not taking any stance on the matter surrounding the Champions Trophy.
“As it pertains to relations between India and Pakistan, that is for them to deal with, whether or not by sports activities or different issues. I’ll go away it to them to discuss their bilateral relationship. It’s not one thing for us to become involved in, however sports activities is undoubtedly a robust and unifying power,” Patel stated.
