Prakash Adhikari, Zilla Parishad Member from the Guptapara Constituency and State Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has been elected because the Adhyaksh of the Zilla Parishad South Andaman for the fourth yr time period.
Boominathan, Zilla Parishad Member from Beodnabad and likewise a BJP consultant, has been elected because the Up-Adhyaksh.
In the earlier time period, Congress leaders M. Rajani and P.A. Sharfuddin held the posts of Adhyaksh and Up-Adhyaksh, respectively.
