Professor Phanithi Prakash Babu Assumes Cost as Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University

Professor Phanithi Prakash Babu has formally taken cost because the Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University. His appointment was made by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in her capability because the Visitor of the University, below Statute 1(A) of the Pondicherry University Act, 1985. The Ministry of Education confirmed the appointment by means of an official communication dated March 6, 2025.

Professor Babu assumed workplace on the morning of March 17 on the college campus in Puducherry. Following his formal takeover, he paid a courtesy go to to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, Mr. N. Rangasamy, on the Legislative Assembly. Later, he addressed a gathering of Deans and Heads of Departments on the establishment campus.
