Lazrus Kerketta, a daily mazdoor with the Electricity Department, died after falling from an electrical pole on Tuesday night. The incident occurred round 4:25 PM when he was climbing the electrical pole reverse Manglutan Electricity Site Office, with none security gear.
According to eyewitnesses, electrical energy workers had positioned a ladder in opposition to the pole, and 55-Year-Old Lazrus was ascending it when he abruptly fell. He suffered extreme head accidents and was rushed to PHC Manglutan by bystanders, together with the complainant. Due to the seriousness of his situation, he was referred to G.B. Based on the grievance, the police have registered an FIR below Sections 106(1) and three(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, holding each the lineman and the junior engineer chargeable for negligence resulting in dying.
