A one-day State-Level Orientation and Training Programme on Adoption was performed lately on the Conference Hall of the Department of Industries. The programme was organized by the State Adoption Resource Agency (SARA) beneath the Directorate of Social Welfare, Sri Vijaya Puram, in collaboration with the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), and supported by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the adoption system by means of centered periods on adoption laws, the function of Child Welfare Committees (CWCs), state-specific challenges, identification of youngsters for capacity-building, and enhanced coordination amongst stakeholders.
Participants included members of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), CWCs, District Child Protection Units (DCPUs), Child Care Institutions (CCIs), Specialised Adoption Agencies, and officers from the Directorate of Health.
Ms. Reeta Devi, Nodal Officer of Mission Vatsalya, briefed the gathering on the scheme. Training periods have been led by Ms. P. Chandni, Senior Professional from CARA, and Ms. Charu Makkar, CWC Expert and empanelled Resource Person from CARA, who shared insights drawn from over three many years of labor in baby rights and safety. Their periods highlighted each authorized procedures and psychosocial features of adoption.
The programme started with a welcome tackle by Ms. Manjula Das, whereas Dr. Shweta, Probation Officer (JH), proposed the vote of thanks. The occasion concluded with individuals reaffirming their dedication to making sure that each baby is positioned in a protected, nurturing, and everlasting dwelling. (Story Based on PR)
