As a part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS), A&N Administration, organized a desk egg distribution programme to handle the dietary wants of kids in Car Nicobar.
Under the steerage of the Chief Secretary and the Secretary (AH&VS), a complete of 1,125 eggs had been distributed amongst college and Anganwadi kids. Of these, 700 eggs had been offered to secondary and senior secondary college students (Classes 9 to 12), whereas 425 eggs got to Anganwadi kids.
