The Directorate of Health Services and SHS-Immunisation, NHM with the technical Support of World Health Organisation -NPSP carried out a 3 days coaching for Medical Officers on Routine Immunisation from thirteenth February 2023 to fifteenth February 2023 within the Conference Hall of Directorate of Industries.
Around 24 Doctors from completely different Health Institutions of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been imparted coaching on Revised Routine Immunisation Schedule, Cold Chain Management, AEFI, eVIN, U-WIN and Vaccine Preventable Disease Surveillance. The coaching was imparted by Dr. Deepak Kumar Kar, SMO, WHO-NPSP, Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health), Dr. B. Ajit Kumar, Deputy Director (Malaria), Dr. Rohit, SPO-eVIN and Dr Tapash Kumar Dakuya SEP/Consultant ( Immunisation ).
The coaching was centered on enhancing the immunisation providers and to offer higher Immunisation providers throughout the Islands. The coaching concluded with the distribution of certificates to the contributors.
