Is Jonathan Kuminga Really 7-Foot-2?
A parody account on Twitter initially fueled the rumors by playfully mentioning in a tweet that Kuminga has grown from 6-foot-7 to 7-feet tall.
While nothing a lot might be picked up from a tweet, Warriors legend Andre Iguodala replied to the tweet, seemingly providing inside info.
The 2015 NBA Finals MVP mentioned that he simply noticed Kuminga and revealed that he’s now standing at 7-foot-2 tall.
The parody account answered that the wing might be 7-foot-8 by subsequent week, and he later clarified that his unique tweet was not true and he was simply “trolling.”
A fan account posted a photoshoped photograph that includes a bigger Kuminga towering over Jordan Poole, whereas quoting Iguodala’s tweet. This could have led Perkins to imagine the social media joke.
