A ten-day Tailoring and Embroidery Training Programme, organized by DAY-NRLM, CD Block Diglipur in collaboration with the Industries Department, was inaugurated on ninth October 2025, in Diglipur. The initiative goals to empower rural girls by enhancing their abilities and selling financial self-reliance.
While inaugurating the programme, Mr. M. Rajendra Kumar, Block Development Officer (BDO), Diglipur, emphasised the significance of such capacity-building efforts, noting that they play an important position in strengthening the financial material of native communities.
Ms. Afreen Neesa, Industries Promotion Officer (IPO), Diglipur, outlined an in depth roadmap of the 10-day coaching, highlighting the sensible abilities and newest methods in tailoring and embroidery that individuals would study. Following the inauguration, each the BDO and IPO distributed coaching kits to all 30 individuals.
The programme will proceed till 21 October 2025 and can concentrate on equipping girls members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from numerous areas below Diglipur with abilities that may assist entrepreneurship and livelihood era.
