The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram, organised a 13-day coaching programme on Geriatric Care Takers, equipping members with important abilities to supply care and help to aged and bedridden sufferers.
The classes had been performed by college members from the School of Nursing, G.B. Pant Hospital, who educated members in aged well being administration, private hygiene, first assist, emotional help, and communication abilities.
Dr. Shiny Varghese, Principal, School of Nursing, G.B. Pant Hospital, expressed happiness over the profitable completion of the programme, which concluded only a day forward of International Day of Older Persons. “The Islands will now have 35 more trained individuals in geriatric care,” she famous.
Congratulating the trainees, Mr. Ravi Sankar inspired them to make the most of the data gained for each social service and self-employment alternatives.
Around 35 girls, largely from rural areas of Ferrargunj Tehsil, actively participated within the programme and efficiently accomplished the coaching.
