An consciousness programme on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 (POSH Act) was carried out for the officers and workers of the Livestock Farm Complex (LFC), Dollygunj, underneath the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services.
In his inaugural tackle, Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Dr. Okay. A. Naveen, highlighted the significance of conducting consciousness and interactive classes for departmental officers and workers to strengthen understanding of office dignity and the provisions of the POSH Act.
The session was carried out by Ms. Rubina Siddique, POSH Act Educator and Senior Subject Expert. She delivered an informative and interactive presentation overlaying the important thing provisions of the POSH Act, prevention of sexual harassment on the office, office dignity, and the mechanisms accessible for reporting and redressal of complaints.
The programme supplied a possibility for the taking part officers and workers to reinforce their consciousness of the authorized provisions and institutional mechanisms regarding prevention and redressal of sexual harassment on the office.
