A Block-level Training Programme on the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 was performed beneath the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) on the CD Block, Diglipur on Friday.
The programme was held within the presence of the Block Development Officer, Diglipur, Mr. M. Rajendra Kumar, and was attended by Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, together with Pradhans, Panchayat Secretaries, Village Level Workers (VLWs) and the Sanitary Supervisor.
The coaching aimed to strengthen the capability of Panchayat representatives and functionaries by enhancing their understanding of the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026.
The session was performed by Ms. Deepa Biswas, Domain Expert (Livelihood), RGSA, Directorate of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies (RD, PRI & ULBs). During the session, she defined the important thing provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 and emphasised the significance of efficient strong waste administration on the grassroots degree.
