As a part of its ongoing initiatives to advertise eco-tourism, wellness, and group participation, the Department of Education and the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration, will arrange a Cycling Tour on November 9, 2025, from 6 AM to eight AM. The occasion, themed #Explore. Experience. Enjoy, is being held beneath the broader campaigns of the Fit India Movement and the Clean & Green Islands Campaign.
The Cycling Tour goals to encourage bodily health, sustainable mobility, and environmental consciousness by highlighting the advantages of adopting eco-friendly modes of transport.
The route will start from the National Memorial Cellular Jail and cross via key metropolis landmarks together with Devraj Clinic, Swimming Pool, Water Sports Complex, Dignabad Fish Market, Fisheries Training Centre, Marine Dockyard, Phoenix Bay Power House, Fisheries Jetty, Megapode Chowk, Police Marine, and PS Chatham, earlier than concluding close to Netaji Stadium Main Gate.
Students, youth volunteers, and biking lovers are invited to take part within the occasion. A restricted variety of 40 bicycles can be made obtainable by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs.
