A Health and Drug Awareness Programme was carried out just lately at GMSS School, Kamorta, in collaboration with the Community Health Centre (CHC) Nancowry and Nancowry Police Station. The initiative aimed to teach college youngsters on essential points associated to well being, private security, and the risks of drug abuse.
Dr. Clementine, General Duty Medical Officer, and Dr. Shabnam Salim, Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) from CHC Nancowry, led informative periods on subjects together with private hygiene, common well being consciousness, and understanding the idea of fine contact and unhealthy contact.
Sub-Inspector Rahil Islam from Nancowry Police Station addressed the scholars on the intense penalties of drug use and substance abuse, highlighting its opposed results on younger lives and the neighborhood.
