The Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council on Saturday introduced the IPL participant regulation 2025-27. Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega public sale, the foundations maintain additional significance. The following selections have been taken within the IPL Governing Council assembly:

1. The IPL franchises can retain a complete of 6 gamers from their present squad. This might be both through retention or through the use of the Right to Match (RTM) possibility.

Previously in 2024, the full wage cap (public sale purse + incremental efficiency pay) was Rs. 110 Crs which can now be Rs. 146 Crs (2025), Rs. 151 Crs (2026) and Rs. 157 Crs (2027).
