Rahul may open the innings at Perth as Gill is nearly sure to overlook the match due to a fractured thumb.
The Indian group completed the block of coaching on the WACA floor on Sunday and the guests will now transfer to the Optus Stadium for match drills from Tuesday, after a scheduled relaxation day on Monday.
