The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal and group spirit throughout the Nicobar District on August 15. The major operate was held at BJR Stadium, Car Nicobar, the place Deputy Commissioner Amit Kale, IAS, unfurled the National Flag. Commendation certificates have been additionally offered to authorities officers, frontline staff, and college students in recognition of their excellent service and achievements.
The occasion witnessed the participation of senior administrative and police officers, personnel from the Air Force, tribal leaders, schoolchildren, and members of most of the people.
