The PM Vishwakarma Trade Fair, organised by the Branch MSME–DFO underneath the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), commenced on the ITF Ground right here on Wednesday with the intention of selling conventional artisans, craftsmen and small entrepreneurs by offering them a direct market platform.
The honest, held underneath the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, was inaugurated by Ms. Pallavi Sarkar, IAS, Secretary (Industries), within the presence of Mr. Atul Soni, Director, Directorate of Industries; Mr. Umar Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC; Mr. Pratap, Deputy General Manager, NABARD; and Mr. G. Ok. Sinha, Assistant Director (In-charge), Branch MSME–DFO, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The inaugural programme featured a sequence of cultural performances, together with conventional dance and singing, which added color and cultural vibrancy to the occasion.
As a part of the initiative, a complete of 70 stalls have been arrange, showcasing a various vary of regionally made merchandise by artisans and micro-entrepreneurs.
