The State Child Protection Society (SCPS) beneath the Directorate of Social Welfare organized a neighborhood consciousness programme on the prevention of kid labour and safety of kid rights at Guptapara Panchayat on July 31.
The programme was coordinated by the Programme Manager of the State Child Protection Society in collaboration with the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) and the Unique Disability ID (UDID) schemes.
During the notice programme, individuals have been sensitized about Child Helpline 1098 and knowledgeable that circumstances involving youngster abuse, neglect, exploitation, trafficking, youngster labour, or any scenario requiring instant care and safety could be reported by calling the helpline for well timed intervention by the involved authorities.
The useful resource individual, Founder of Pankh NGO, defined the excellence between youngster labour and age-appropriate family obligations. She emphasised that each youngster has the best to schooling, play, a protected atmosphere, and alternatives to appreciate their full potential.
The Pradhan of Guptapara Panchayat appreciated the initiative of the Directorate of Social Welfare and stated that such consciousness programmes assist strengthen neighborhood participation in defending kids and making a safer society.
