Dallas Stars winger Jamie Benn has been suspended for the following two video games resulting from an infraction in Game 3 of their Western Conference ultimate collection towards the Vegas Golden Knights, in response to NHL’s Department of Player Safety on Wednesday.
The Stars are at the moment on the point of elimination, down 0-3 within the collection. Benn might be serving the suspension in Game 4 and Game 5 if attainable.
If they get swept, the Stars staff captain might be serving the second of his two-game suspension within the season opener of the 2023-24 NHL season.

Benn was suspended resulting from cross-checking Golden Knights captain and proper winger Mark Stone, as per Sportsnet.

The Vegas-based staff was not happy with Benn’s actions, and officers rapidly despatched him to the workplace.
Benn took accountability for his actions, saying that it was as a result of warmth of the second. The 33-year-old veteran stated that it was his first shift of a sport on dwelling ice. Being down 1-0, he needed to get his sport going.
“Emotions are high, and it’s just an unfortunate play. I put my team in a tough situation, so it’s pretty unfortunate,” he stated through ESPN.
Benn added that he wanted to be extra accountable along with his physique and stick, saying the incident didn’t really feel good.
The Vegas Golden Knights need to sweep the Dallas Stars in Game 4 on Thursday.
