The Zonal Agriculture Office, Diglipur, carried out a hands-on coaching programme on Thursday to reinforce farmers’ proficiency in working and sustaining farm equipment, together with energy tillers, brush cutters, and water pumps. The session came about on the Agriculture Department Workshop in Keralapuram.
The initiative particularly focused farmers who personal such equipment, aiming to strengthen their technical expertise and promote environment friendly, sustainable farming practices.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh of the Panchayat Samiti, who served because the chief visitor. Also current had been Ms. Anita Mondal, Pradhan of Keralapuram Gram Panchayat, and Mr. Niranjan Hawlader, Zilla Parishad Member, Sitanagar/Diglipur.
In his inaugural handle, Mr. Mistry underscored the advantages of natural farming and inspired farmers to undertake extra sustainable agricultural strategies. The technical coaching was led by Mr. Biprotosh Das, Assistant Chargeman, Workshop Diglipur, who offered individuals with sensible demonstrations and steerage on equipment maintenance.
Welcoming the individuals, Ms. Arti Singh, Assistant Director (Agriculture), Diglipur, emphasised that the coaching is a part of a broader departmental effort to empower farmers with the data required to independently handle and keep their agricultural gear.
As a part of the programme, Soil Health Cards had been distributed to the farmers by the dignitaries, and important instruments had been additionally handed over to the individuals.
