In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Bhasker said that the freeway, beneath the supervision of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) since 2017, stays incomplete regardless of repeated appeals. He described the situation of the highway as hazardous for commuters and highlighted a number of stretches in superior levels of decay.
According to Mr. Bhasker, parts of the highway between Baratang and Rangat and from Billiground to Mayabunder are but to be accomplished, whereas accomplished stretches between Mayabunder and Diglipur have additionally suffered injury.
