Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) President, Mr. Rangalal Halder, has urged the A&N Administration to arrange a two-day particular camp at Harminder Bay, Little Andaman, to offer important providers similar to Aadhaar enrollment and updates, Life Certificate submission for pensioners, and help for farmers below varied schemes.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, Mr. Halder highlighted the difficulties confronted by residents in accessing these essential providers resulting from geographical boundaries and insufficient transportation services. The request follows considerations raised through the current go to of AICC Joint Secretary, Dr. Palak Verma, to Harminder Bay, the place locals voiced their struggles in reaching service centres situated removed from their properties.
“The elderly and pensioners in the village need Life Certificates to ensure uninterrupted receipt of their benefits. Similarly, Aadhaar-related services, including new enrollments, biometric updates, corrections, and linking with bank accounts, are essential for seamless access to various government schemes. Additionally, many farmers require assistance with registration and verification under the various farmer related schemes,” Mr. Halder acknowledged.
Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, he urged the Administration to deploy needed personnel and sources to conduct the camp effectively, making certain that residents of Harminder Bay obtain the providers they want with out hardship.
