The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India) in coordination with the A&N Administration organized an ‘Awareness Programme on PM Vishwakarma Scheme’ at SVPMC Community Hall, Haddo, Sri Vijaya Puram. The occasion aimed to tell and encourage conventional artisans and craftspeople from 18 trades lined underneath the scheme to enroll as beneficiaries.
More than 50 potential beneficiaries from numerous trades participated within the programme. The PM Vishwakarma Scheme focuses on supporting artisans and craftspeople reminiscent of carpenters, boat makers, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, sculptors, cobblers, masons, basket makers, toy makers, barbers, garland makers, tailors, fishing internet makers, and others.
The goal of the programme is to spice up outreach and enrollment, significantly in districts with decrease participation, regardless of the supply of eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. G.Ok. Sinha, Assistant Director (In-charge), Branch MSME-DFO, Sri Vijaya Puram, highlighted numerous schemes of the Ministry of MSME. Mr. Ajit Anand, Deputy Director (Industries), A&N Administration, inspired individuals to take full benefit of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and enroll themselves.
Mr. P.Ok. Umar Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC, SBI, Sri Vijaya Puram, elaborated on the documentation and mortgage utility course of underneath the scheme. Additionally, Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, Centre Superintendent, Common Service Centre Education & Training Academy, defined the registration course of and the essential position of CSCs in onboarding new beneficiaries.
A technical session adopted the shows, offering individuals with additional steering on availing the advantages of the scheme.
