District Hospital, Garacharma, in coordination with the Employees Welfare Association of the ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CIARIEWA), organized a well being consciousness and neighborhood screening programme on the ICAR-CIARI Garacharma Research Complex on July 14.
The programme aimed to create consciousness about varied communicable illnesses and promote community-level screening among the many institute’s workers. Health Counselor (ICTC), Ms. Mini Kumari, delivered an consciousness session on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, and Tuberculosis, highlighting the significance of standard monitoring and early detection. She additionally performed an interactive session on psychological well being, emphasizing its position in sustaining general well-being and social steadiness.
During the programme, technicians from District Hospital, Garacharma carried out well being screening of the members.
A complete of 82 workers members, together with contractual and sanitation staff, benefited from the initiative, whereas 71 workers underwent well being screening.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. K. Shyam Sunder Rao and Mr. Shyam Prakash Narayan. Dr. Pooja Bohra welcomed the members on behalf of CIARIEWA.
