The Income Tax Department on Tuesday organized an outreach programme titled “Prarambh 2026” on the Conference Hall of AAPDA Bhawan in Sri Vijaya Puram to create consciousness amongst stakeholders concerning the newly enacted Income Tax Act, 2025 and the Income Tax Rules, 2026.
The programme was organized by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax-1, Kolkata stationed at Sri Vijaya Puram and witnessed participation from enterprise house owners, tax professionals and representatives of varied buying and selling communities throughout the Islands.
