The Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani Group, invited 50 ladies from the city slum communities to expertise and benefit from the vibrant atmosphere that the Women’s Premier League offers. These ladies, visiting a cricket stadium for the primary time ever, have been visibly excited to be on the iconic Brabourne Stadium, on the Cricket Club of India. The ladies got here to look at the Gujarat Giants, led by Sneh Rana and mentored by Mithali Raj, tackle Royal Challengers Bangalore.
While the event was large for these excellent ladies, it additionally shone the highlight on the truth that ladies’s sport is on the uptick and the significance of the massive stage was not misplaced on these particular invitees as they liked the sight of girls cricketers take centre stage in entrance of a packed home.
